ROLE: ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER.
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in leading and managing the sales team to achieve the company’s sales targets and objectives. This role involves overseeing daily sales activities, managing key accounts, and contributing to the development of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
- Team Support: Assist the Sales Manager in leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team to ensure high performance.
- Sales Targets: Help in setting sales targets for individual sales representatives and the team, and work with the team to achieve these targets.
- Account Management: Maintain and develop relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategies: Contribute to the creation and implementation of effective sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Sales Manager, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Customer Relations: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure that the sales team provides high-quality customer service.
- Sales Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- B. Tech (M.E)/B. E (M.E) minimum experience in a manufacturing company of 3 years in sales department.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the sales process, market dynamics, and industry trends
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused with a high level of integrity.
- Building and maintaining good work relationships with customers.
Important Points:
The selection process will consist of four rounds
Round 1: Telephonic interview with the Executive Assistant.
Communication Skills and Introduction Call. Assess your
communication skills and provide a brief introduction to the
role and the company.
Round 2: E- Interview with senior sales officials.
Round 3: Face-to-face interview with the management. Discuss your
experience and alignment with the company’s goals and
values.
Round 4: Final Interview with Managing Director Assessment to
determine your suitability for the role.
